Had a wonderful few days in Braemar. The cabin and garden were amazing, definitely exceeded our expectations. Very thoughtful touches, particularly where our dog was concerned, really made it feel like a home from home. We loved that there were miles of walks right from the door, we didn’t get in the car from arriving until it was time to leave. Also didn’t need to use the well equipped kitchen at all as there were plenty of options for takeaway and eating just a stroll away. We’re already planning our next visit.

We received a very warm welcome and were given lots of advice about local walks activities etc. The lodge was very well equipped and we much appreciated the nice bottle of wine ! Peaceful garden but also within easy walking distance of the village centre We enjoyed some fabulous walking and birdwatching and would love to come back one day

Fiona and Colin are super warm and welcoming hosts and have an amazing cottage in the lovely village of Braemar. They are always helpful and give off a classic Airbnb vibe that reminded me of the platforms early days (before the lockboxes and the big businesses came in). They are usually up for a chat or a drink (or even a song if you're lucky😉). If you are looking for an exceptional and unique place to stay in Cairngorms I would highly recommend here!
