Rosemary was an absolute star of a host. Always very helpful even before arrival Super responsive and made it easy for us to find our way to The Haven. We really enjoyed our couple of days at the cottage while over to visit

If you like peace and quiet then April cottage is the place. Rosemary is the perfect host very informative about area and local events. Lovely personal touches in cottage . We made use of garden as weather warm and was so quiet. Felt very lucky to have found Rosemary and April cottage came away feeling very relaxed and stress free. Will definitely be back. Such a lovely, homely and cosy place. The furniture was very comfy and the garden was amazing, very big and lovely to sit in. The location is great as it’s very quiet and no street lights make it perfect for star gazing on a clear night. Rosemary was the perfect host, making sure we were comfortable and giving us lots of good recommendations for food and routes to get to places. We also loved that she kindly made us a reservation at a local pub that turned out to be a great place. Would definitely recommend The Haven and we will definitely be coming back.
