Charming, warm and lively district in the center of Paris.
The Place de la République is 7 minutes walk.
The Canal Saint-Martin 2 minutes walk.
We love our neighborhood because it is central and it's the real Paris of the Parisians.
From our house in 15 minutes by foot you are in LE MARAIS (the oldest and most expensive district of the capital). But you can also go to the Belleville district or simply stay on the Canal Saint Martin.
All the tourist places are accessible very quickly from the house by foot or by metro. Republic station is 9 minutes walk.
- there are plenty of small restaurants, cozy bistros, terraces, small pedestrian streets;
- lots of small chic and trendy clothes shops, decoration and beautiful bookstores ...
- many small food shops and quality craftsmen to discover
- 3 food markets: Saint-Martin and Saint-Quentin (opened from Tuesday to Sunday) and Parmentier (opened only on Sundays);
- supermarkets and grocers open 7 days a week, some until midnight. There is an organic supermarket next door
- For children: the Villemin garden (with grass and play areas) is nearby. Then if you walk along the Canal Saint Martin you arrive at the Canal de l'Ourcq which is great in the summer because during this period Paris Plage settles there. For the kids it's great. From the Canal de l'Ourcq you are quickly at Parc de la Vilette
- cultural places nearby: the Alhambra, theaters St Martin and Antoine, the tile of the Temple, the Point Ephémère
