We had an excellent time at Pat and Gertie’s farmhouse and wished we would have stayed longer. They made us feel right at home and Gertie was even generous enough to bring us some scones and jam on top of her delicious apple tart. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy Irish countryside experience.

Lovely people. Beautiful, cozy space. Also loved the hens! Gertie’s apple tart was such a sweet gesture, and it was a nice treat after a day of travel.

Idyllic! We loved the cottage. It’s a perfect place to relax by the fireplace and unwind. Well situated to explore nearby areas and such a comfortable bed!

We had a wonderful stay at Gertie and Pat’s beautiful cottage! This cozy cottage has everything you need for a restful stay. The authentic cottage is immaculate. We were greeted by Gertie holding a fresh baked apple tart. It was so delicious! On Gertie’s suggestion we enjoyed the gorgeous Cliff walk in Ardmore and had a walk on the endless beach. Had a lovely chat with Gertie and Pat as we were leaving, most definitely a reminder of the kindness of our hosts in Ireland. Thank you!

Gertie and Pat are the Most Wonderful 2 people we could have met while on our 1st trip to Ireland. The Gorgeous Stone Cottage was everything I was looking for and more! It is a True Hidden Gem! We had the most Wonderful breakfast prepared by Gertie and it was well worth it! we felt like we were Royalty with what she offered for breakfast. Pat gave us some wonderful ideas as to what to do in the area. We were looking for some history in the area and he gave us great information. Finbarr was our taxi driver for both nights and he was so helpful. With 1st time driving for us Ireland it was nice to have him available for our dinner plans to and from the cottage to Dungarvan. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would come back in a heartbeat! Don't hesitate to book this beautiful cottage! You will not regret it! And the bonus was the Fresh Apple Pie upon our arrival!
