Mike was a perfect host offering many ideas on where and what we can do for our stay. We had looked up ideas before coming but it was nice to get a locals recommendations and the recommendations did not disappoint! The room was as described, loved all the pineapple decor. So fun! But I would have to say the best part about this place is the location! So awesome with lots of places to eat, the beach, the pier all close walking distance. We had a great time staying here for our anniversary.

Absolutely amazing rental, exactly as described. Mike was very helpful and gave us some great suggestions for the area. Absolutely love the aesthetics of the room, will definitely be booking with Mike again!

The oven was so filthy that it smoked up the entire apartment when we turned it on- no smoke detectors either. The bathroom has the linoleum screwed into the ground instead of glued, and the screws were sticking out. There is mold inside the seal of the fridge and it was overall dirty (needed a deep clean). Mike was a GREAT communicator but we almost left due to a giant Palmetto bug (roach) in the bathroom. We were told they are common on the island so we don't know if that would happen in other places, but Mike sent someone to take care of it. Pillows were very flat and the bed was uncomfortable. Again, Mike was a wonderful communicator and sent us many local recommendations, the place was just very disappointing when we were so excited to be there. Pots and pans were VERY limited and there were not any cooking sheets. You cannot close the shower curtain all the way so there's a big opening either getting the toilet wet or under the sink. Location was PERFECT for walking everywhere.
