Kia Ora. Great location for a first stay in Auckland. Large one bedroom with high ceilling. Building that kept its authenticity. Perfect kitchen whether you'll make your own meals, or take out from local eateries or food court. SkyCity with Skybus to/from the airport is 15mn walk. Ferries across the bay/islands, and buses allow to make last minutes weather-based plans.

Excellent property! The location could not have been more convenient being located next to the harbor, restaurants and shopping galore, and all forms of transportation nearby. As it is on a square, it was a bit noisy at night on the weekend with lots of activity outside. There was,however, no noise from adjacent apartments. The building is gated, locked and very secure. The pictures of the apartment do not do it justice, as the apartment is more charming and comfortable than the pictures convey. The only surprise was that there was no microwave. Check in and out was facilitated by Sandy. We were fortunate to arrange an early arrival. Sandy met us as scheduled and provided a thorough overview of the apartment and surrounding area. Also, a notebook was available in the apartment. I would definitely rent this apartment again from Lloyd again if traveling to Auckland again.

Loyd's place was a pleasant surprise that exceeded what the photos conveyed (they may have been updated since). Excellent location right near Britomart Train station, The Ferry Terminal, Queen St, Commercial Bay, and the Viaduc (all these spots are where lots of the best restaurants and bars are). Despite the busy plaza below and construction in front (should be done soon), the apartment is quiet and comfortable. High speed internet, TV, and a Bose sound bar to listen to music (not counting the retro-gaming table). Nice little kitchen and comfortable living area to just lounge. Also liked the walk in shower. March visit had us not needing heating or cooling day or night (an issue others have mentioned). We slept with windows closed to keep any noise out. Grab this place, especially when the rates are lower or on sale! It is a superb pied-a-terre in Auckland.
