Other than having sum problems finding the house (it's important to be in contact with the host before arrival to get clear directions), our stay was wonderful. It's a beautiful place to stay with a perfect host. The layout is perfect for a family (there were 6 of us) and a very pleasant place to come back to after our day activities.

Our staying was great! Peaceful, lots of animals in the garden/jungle. Kitchen has everything you need. There was hot water at any hour at the showers. Chek in and check out were easy even though we arrived late in the evening. Overall we had an amazing time here. I would suggest the host to leave more toilet papers. Definitely would come back. Expect lots of insects. We are the ones enetering their home. A bit dissapointed cuz we haven't seen Stacey (the tarantula).

Our group of 6 absolutely loved staying here! the home was beautiful and the property AMAZING!!! the kitchen had everything we need to cook. You will be immersed in the forest and we only wish we could stay longer in paradise!!

Lyam was very responsive and helpful throughout. This is a quirky and basic house. When we checked in at night, there were 2 tarantula hawk wasps inside (they're terrifying; look it up), and as is the Costa Rica way, you will definitely be sharing the place with a lot of bugs. You may also have difficulty sleeping over the sound of barking dogs and the sound of things hitting the corrugated tin and plastic roof (we had one windy night where the sounds were loud and endless; no one really slept). And Lyam's mom being a stone's throw away in the back yard minimizes the privacy. Not much the owners can do about any of these things, hence the 4 stars, but best for future guests to be aware of.
