L’emplacement de la maison est à deux pas de la plage, ce qui est très pratique. Les plus beaux couchers de soleil se situent sur cette plage. La ville est également assez proche.

Frank and Helen are the best hosts, very friendly and helpful. The location is great, footstep from the beach and to the town, close to all shops and Restaurants. You can also rent the bikes directly from the hosts and they provide you with all informations you need. The Villa is very good equipped, you have everything you need, and the garden around the villa is very beautiful and well looked after. We can recommend this accommodation to everyone who goes to La Digue.

We stayed at OSoleil Guesthouse for several nights. The guesthouse is not a stand-alone cottage. There are several separate units in the building. The space we occupied consisted of one bedroom with two queen beds, a bathroom located off the bedroom, and a combined kitchen/living area that contained a dining table and chairs, a sofa, a chair, and an extra bed. ***It is important to note that the listing is not accurate with respect to the beds provided. The listing states, in the 'where you'll sleep' section that the bedroom contains 2 queen beds and 2 single beds. The bedroom actually only has 2 queen beds. There is an additional bed in the combined living/kitchen room. This is a single bed that is more appropriate for a child than an adult. It is also important to know that only the bedroom is air-conditioned. Any person or people sleeping in the living area will not have air-conditioning to sleep at night. There is a ceiling fan in the living area, and one (very dirty) extra fan that can be moved as needed. In addition to the interior, there is a small outdoor porch with a table and 2 chairs. We did not meet Helen at all during our stay. Frank met us - after some searching for him - for check-in. He provided his WhatsApp contact details and was available to contact via WhatsApp during our stay. He was a nice enough guy, but not particularly helpful in any way. We modified our reservation to reduce it by one night during our stay. According to the cancellation policy, we should receive a refund for this night, but the hosts have ignored our requests. All in all, this is average accommodation at a reasonable price. It is walkable to a beach and it's clean. It is definitely better suited to 4 people at most.

The chalet was clean, comfortable, spacious and cozy for our about two weeks stay. Well equipped kitchen with functioning utilities. Our needs were covered as everything worked as it should including safe in the bedroom. Very useful with AC in the bedroom and the fan that can also be moved to balcony. Outside shower is nice in well kept garden that we used for washing off the sand after a short walk from the beach. The location is very good as you are very close to beach, center of the island and the ferry. Our internet need was also covered by a very stable wifi with about 2 mb of speed. The host has good network of people whether it's for a boat trip or other needs. Otherwise available for enquiries and help. We wish to thank our host for flexibility, assistance, availability and information before we booked the place and had to cancel and postpone due to the pandemic.
