This location is perfect if you want a more local experience of Paris. It is in the 10th and the area is very charming, with a local pace of life as opposed to a tourist way of life. If you are willing to walk, you can easily get to all the tourist spots like the Louvre, Centre Pompidou and Notre Dame in 20-30 minutes. If you are not, you can catch any number of metro lines that are nearby. There are lots of great boulangeries and patisseries around the apartment so you will not go without food. Plus, the apartment has so much character! This is not an Ikea-furnished apartment that is only used for AirBnBs - you really feel like you are getting a true Parisian experience in this unit. Bernard is very communicative and we were able to easily coordinate check-in and check-out. Will definitely try and rent this unit again when we go back to Paris - it is a true gem!

El apartamento es muy cómodo y bonito, con todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estancia y sentirte como en casa. A tener en cuenta que es un cuarto piso sin ascensor, ya que se trata de un tipico edificio parisino antiguo. Bernard es un anfitrión increíble, atento y educado, y responde con mucha rapidez. Muy recomendado!

We spend a wonderful week in Bernard's place. This apartment is perfectly situated in a vibrant area - lovely bars and restaurants, great shops and markets selling fresh produce. Excellently served by public transport it proved a great base for exploring this very beautiful city. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment: it was super clean (it is for sure a very good professional cleaning); we had everything we needed and even more (all necessary equipment in the kitchen, bathroom with spare towels, bath gel, soap , hairdryer etc). The apartment is big and it really feels like home! The location is superb!: we had 20-30 minutes walk to the city centre, but the Notre dame de Paris , Mares and Pompidou are just literally in 10 minutes slow walking! Although the apartment is located in vibrant area with lots of restaurants and cafes, it is very cosy and silent there, as the windows face the courtyard. Despite the well-known smells from risers in many houses in France, there are absolutely no smells in this apartment and normal water pressure. An added bonus was a bottle of water and good wine from Bernard, as well as the fact that he was always in touch and check-in was easy and straightforward. I highly recommend this apartment!
