Beautiful location, perfect for two families. House was really well kitted out, and we so enjoyed walking around the grounds, which includes ponds and streams to paddle in.

Lovely house: spacious, well equipped and clean. Jane was responsive and friendly. Great tennis and table tennis facilities. Ideal accomodation for my moms 95th birthday celebration with ground floor bedroom and en suite easily accessible for someone with limited mobility. If youre over 6 foot though, watch your head! Low beams on ground floor.

Very well equipped and maintained accommodation to a high standard in a lovely rural setting with a very friendly host. It was just perfect for our party of ten with four children and six adults. Kitchen excellent and very well equipped with appliances and utensils - no problem cooking a Christmas lunch for ten with all the trimmings. Sitting and dining rooms comfortable with a cosy log stove in both rooms (once we had learned how to operate them efficiently). Bedroom accommodation good with comfortable beds. Plenty of spotless bathrooms with copious amounts of hot water. Area around the farm is good for walking either around the lakes on the farm or on the local footpaths of which there are many. The party were unanimous in strongly recommending the Lodge as a good place to stay and centre for exploring south Dorset.

This was an excellent lodge for 3 generations with one disabled member. It was so cosy with an old-world charm yet had everything modern that we needed, even a bluetooth speaker. The log burner in the lounge was a big hit in the cold November weather. We cooked a full Christmas meal for 9 with relative ease and enjoyed family time around the table. We didn't get out and about as we didn't intend to, with family home from Australia it was all about being together, but being locals, we know we could have had many lovely days out from here. Jane was lovely to talk with and very helpful, genuinely wanting us to have a great stay.
