Secluded quirky cottage which was a mix of modern and traditional . Really well placed about 10 mins from Newcastle Emlyn and about 30 min from the coast where we were lucky enough to see dolphins . Would highly recommend a stay here especially if it's rest and recuperation you are after . No WiFi - bliss!

Amazing stay!! Was so peaceful and secluded, hot tub was much bigger than the pictures make it seem, would recommend to anyone, family will be booking here as our stay was so nice, beach and waterfalls was a short drive away which made it even better, thank you Dorian for allowing us to stay, was perfect!

where do I start. Don't get me wrong it's a cute cottage. But it took us 2 hours to find a taxi who knew where to actually go. there was no service so if there was an emergency no one would be able to help us. if you have a Samsung phone you have absolutely no signal, if you have an iPhone you have very limited signal. moths and satins on the bedding, extremely slippy stairs to get up to the bedroom. kitchen also has extremely poor lighting. the taxi number left for us didn't work. took hours to get taxis coz we didn't have enough service, and. o one knew where we were. the cottage is extremely hard to find, all you have is a tiny sign off the road that can bearly be seen. the taxi we did manage to get even said the same. no WiFi- which is fine, but if your not going to have WiFi then the host at least needs to put a landline in so if there is an emergency you can at least get hold of someone. all in all, we checked out after 1 night of our 4 night stay and found somewhere else to stay

The cottage was clean and tidy however don’t leave any food on the counters as there are ants. The natural light in the kitchen is lovely, and all amenities listed were present.

We really had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was a bit hard to find at first, but we managed well with Dorian's descriptions. The roads in the area are quite narrow and not in the best condition, so be prepared for some going back and forth when encountering traffic. The additions of the hypermodern part to the cottage looks a bit strange at first, but means you have a really cozy, classic bedroom, and a big window looking outside when you have breakfast. We really enjoyed our time there and the hot tub under the stars was a really unique experience. The hot tub unfortunately broke during our time there, but Dorian was incredibly quick to help and got it fixed within a day. He's a great host and very happy to respond and help quickly. There were a few ants inside, as some other reviews mentioned, but nothing really problematic.
