Spacious cottage w well appointed rooms, wrap around screened in porch and lovely views of the lake. We also enjoyed getting out on the water in the canoe, kayaks and pedal boats.

Great location, a little hard to find when you first drive there as it’s behind a motel. The lake was nice, not much fish but easy access from the dock and shore. Very kid friendly, easy to get around the property. The microwave didn’t work but owner offered to repair quickly. The kitchen supplies were a little light, would recommend bringing additional pots, pans, knives if intending to cook. BBQs worked great. Property is very large, lots of space for everyone to stay.

Amazing cottage for our weekend get together. Much better than we expected, the photos don’t do it justice. The host was amazing to deal with and provides you with a manual for all details relating to your stay at the cottage. Would definately recommend

A beautiful, traditional and homely cottage that was clean, comfortable and in a great location. We arrived from the UK and spent a week with family in Mellow Yellow. It was perfect for such an occasion. The house is big enough so that everyone can have their own space and the kids just loved the playing in the lake and roasting marshmallows on the BBQ in the evenings. (There was a fire ban when we were there). There are 3 bedrooms on one side of the cottage, one bedroom downstairs off the dining room and another master bedroom off the large living room - at the other end of the cottage. It has 2 shower rooms downstairs and one upstairs washroom. The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed when preparing large meals. Garçon, the host, was quick to reply to messages and very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for that ‘traditional cottage’ feel and wants to escape for a bit of peace and quiet or connect with friends and family. Michele

Mellow Yellow was beautiful- a spacious and utterly charming classic muskoka cottage with gorgeous lake views. It was incredibly clean and extremely well stocked with everything we could think of or need. The screened in porch was perfect for meals and lounging and the lake views from the house and the dock were beautiful. Garson was very easy to reach and always helpful. Proximity to Gravenhurst was handy- just a 15 minute walk to Main Street. We’re looking forward to returning.
