Kerry was an amazing host, she is responsive to all my messages, and she was right at the door when I arrived. She was also super helpful with food recommendations around the area. The place was nice and cozy and unique in its own ways. Great spot if you are in that area during the skiing season. However, to get back to the highway or to Bright, the road is pretty windy, lots of curve. Kerry recommended Treat's Cafe which serves up amazing dinner. Around the area there is a Mt Beauty Pondage Walk which is very beautiful during autumn. For me, I like to be away from all the hustle and bustle. hence this is a nice quiet place to wind down for the night. She has DVD and VCR movies in the room as well. Which felt nostalgic. However, maybe because of where the place is located, there are a couple of insects, (lizard, spider). Would be 5 star for me without these (because I am scared of insects! LoL) Overall, great experience.

Fantastic private spot surrounded by nature and bird life. Very well situated for visits to Falls Creek & the Bogong high plains, Bright and Mt Buffalo. Can recommend doing lots of walks in the area. Kerry has plenty of info available. Great craft brewery at Tawonga South. Accommodation so comfortable with sunshine streaming in during the mornings. Lovely spot to sit outside too and watch the birds enjoying the birdbath. You won’t be disappointed.
