Incredible views from this cottage! And a great location with easy access to activities on Georgetown Island, in Bath, Brunswick, etc. Walking distance to Five Island Lobster. And we love a place that allows our golden retriever to join us! Pros: The view. A safe area outside the cottage for our dog to run around and go for walks. Peaceful and quiet location. Easy access to mid-coast Maine locations. We used the two kayaks, which were great! The fireplace at night was lovely. No TV (also a con?)! Cons/quirks: No easy water access for our dog, but there are a few swimming areas nearby. Dock was not yet installed (being repaired) during our visit—we knew it might not be. Cottage is older, thus kitchen is dated and lacks counter space for larger meal prep. The dishwasher requires someone to be present to move the dial when it sticks on the rinse cycle. Washer and drier are in two different buildings. Strong mothball smell in bedrooms especially. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
