Leora Sheridan Vincenti grew up at Montfair Family Resort in the country in Crozet, VA. We all grew up in our family business surrounded by family, vacation guests who would come from all over the world and lots of cousins who would come to visit and work for the summer. Leora's husband Dave Vincenti, grew up on a mushroom farm & cannery in Pa. Leora and Dave met in the late 90’s and put their heads together to transform Montfair into a relaxed eco-resort with vacation cottages and step by step have worked to create a vibrant and sustainable business. Our mission is to provide comfortable, affordable accommodations to families, friends and travelers who share the same passion of environmental responsibility that we do. Leora and Dave and her brothers and sister have all contributed in one way or another to protect, preserve and share the beauty and natural landscape of our family property. We are a family of artists. Leora is an artist and enjoys painting landscapes. Joe Sheridan, her brother is a painter and also builds rustic furniture. Both Leora and Joe are available to teach workshops on site. We enjoy helping make it possible for guests, families and groups to enjoy a back to nature vacation and to create memorable events for their own families and friends visiting Montfair. A step at a time renovation over the last 15 years continues to evolve as we continue to respect the landscape and craft a sustainable romantic and relaxed ideal mountain vacation retreat and ideal wedding location.
