The pictures don’t do the place justice, it was much cosier, and the garden and the private entrance is just lovely. Bolton Abbey is only a 10 minute drive and I highly recommend visiting it. Linda was very helpful and stayed in touch with us before arrival and during our stay to ensure we had what we needed. She also recommended local restaurants and pubs for our dinner in case we needed some. My favourite thing about the place is it’s immaculately clean, and that’s usually the most important to me. It smelled very nice the minute we walked in.
Loved our 2 night break. Linda & Colin were so friendly with lots of suggestions to make our stay enjoyable. The accomodation was perfect, just could not fault anything. 5 stars from us & a big thank you. Ann & John.

If you need to go to an event in this area or you love walking or visiting places and will be out most of the day, this is the place for you. It’s like a very well equipped hotel room with a fridge in the garage next door (entered through a lockable door from the suite). Everything you need to make breakfast inc toaster and microwave - brilliant shower and sky tv! I was going to a wedding nearby so just used the suite to sleep and get ready. Like a hotel room you wouldn’t want to sit around in it all day. Having said that it’s spotless lovely and warm and was perfect for my needs. Linda was super attentive and friendly but intrusive at all! She even offered to drive me to the venue as the road to it is a bit windy. ( I line in rural wales so this was a motorway to me!) all in all the perfect venue for my needs and I would not hesitate to recommend it . Linda even got berries and oat milk for me as I don’t eat cereals! Tea coffee and everything is provided. Best air Bnb yet for me! 5*

I love tennis, gardening, walking and reading. Couple of favourite places visited, Great Barrier Reef & Iceland seeing the Northern Lights. We lived in California, for 7 years and have 2 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. We have lived in Yorkshire for 35+ years and love everything about it. We love welcoming new and returning visitors to our lovely village and to our comfortable accommodation.
