The Cottage is an 18th Century dwelling that in 2013 was extensively renovated and modernised, retaining all original features. Antique & modern furnishings complement. South facing sun trap sports two patio areas with outstanding views of Dorset. The Cottage has a large tiled farmhouse kitchen/dining room. This leads into a large but cosy traditional sitting room complete with log burner. Adjacent is the modern garden room with both bifold and patio doors at either end making the room an open air living space leading onto both patio sun traps! Great for entertaining and star gazing which is fantastic as there is no light pollution. Downstairs is a wetroom with shower. The upstairs modern marble family bathroom has a seperate bath & shower. The ground floors are wooden, the carpeted stairs lead to three carpeted double bedrooms. The master bedroom and bedroom 2 and 3 have original 4ft 6 double Victorian cast iron and brass beds. The Cottage comfortably fits 6 people, but can accommodate an extra infant. Travel cot and high chair available. There are superb rural views from all rooms excluding the sitting room.

Tonya's home is truly a beautiful gem nestled in the Dorset countryside. This is a lovely secluded cottage, not overlooked and with a sweet little children friendly garden it provides a great atmosphere to relax with the family. A warm and charming home with classic cottage characteristics. There is a large living space and a brilliant kitchen. The bedrooms were all spacious and comfy beds and a charming reading cubby in the twin bed room. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is definitely the place we'd recommend. Great location for plenty of activities around. It is close to lots of activities and only a short drive to the beach should you want to explore. We would definitely return again and for longer too if the option arises.
This house deserves more than 5 stars! Everything about it was absolutely perfect; spotlessly clean, fully stocked with everything you could need and more, and a delightful secluded garden. Tonya was incredibly responsive and even went so far as to mail us a charger for one of our sons toys we had left behind. We wish we could have stayed for longer!
This is an exceptional place. Beautiful, quiet, well equipped and wonderfully curated with quirky details and gorgeous finishing touches. Outstanding levels of cleanliness. The perfect bolt hole. We would love to return. And watch out for the reindeer - an unexpected but welcome surprise!

BROOMHILL is one of the nearest villages to WIMBORNE enjoying good access to Poole and Bournemouth. The cottage is set in a rural and peaceful countryside setting with direct access to A31 which is two minutes away. The cottage is next to fields and is not overlooked by neighbours.
Listed walks and mountain bike routes direct from cottage. Coarse fishing lakes and local garden centre within walking distance.

The Market town of WIMBORNE MINSTER has numerous cafes, pubs and independent restaurants covering a wide variety of food styles. There is a large Waitrose and Co-op in town and access to banks, building societies & cashpoints. 'Wimborne Farmers Market' trades on a Friday, morning. Wimborne has its own Tivoli theatre, Priest’s House Museum & Garden, Model Town & Gardens & leisure centre and is most famous for it's Norman church.
