The location was great. Beachfront haven. The listing said “entire house”. The owner was living in the front portion of the rental. Lack of privacy was uncomfortable. None of the plugs in the master bedroom functioned. An electrician came, was present for an hour and fixed nothing. The shower in the master bath was a trickle. Nice location but it needs a LOT of attention to update it.

Larry, provided an amazing property! If you are looking for a beach trip in a home that has amazing ocean views, good parking, immediate beach access and just an all around comfortable and relaxing experience, then this is the place. Sunset Beach offers great access to coastal cities of SoCal. I would recommend this location and intend to return again.

Appliances either didn’t work or worked poorly. Owner replaced microwave after we left. Short in electricity causes shocks from stove. He unplugged stove and had to use a lighter to light cooktop. Dryer does not thoroughly dry clothing. Outdoor grill -only one burner lights and couldn’t even heat hot dogs. Had to heat on “lighter stove”. Plumbing: Handle on upstairs shower fell off. Owner’s daughter put back on but tricky/impossible to get hot water. Had to take cold showers. Spiral staircase to loft has wobbly railing. Stairs challenging. Positives: Fantastic location, cute decor, amazing deck. Owners tried.
