Exactly as listed, lovely home and beautiful surroundings! Chuck met is there at check-in, with his adorable son ,and walked us through everything. He left a welcome gift for my nine year old granddaughter, very thoughtful, and she loved it. Chuck provided lots of information prior to our arrival and remained in contact throughout our stay. My family and I had a rather enjoyable week at Brickwood and hope others will as well. Highly recommend.

Brickwood is a beautiful house and property that is fully equipped to cook but also close proximity to Lakefield and central to Kawartha for great dining out (and ice cream). We were 6 people and had more than enough space and loved the pool and sauna. Chuck and Alicia are superhosts - above and beyond with provisions to make our stay comfortable and communicating to make sure we had all the necessary info on the house and area. Beautiful spot!

We had an amazing week at Chuck and Alicias' farmhouse. The house is gorgeous and can comfortably fit four adults and two kids. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need. The heated pool, sauna and outdoor shower were a really nice addition and we were able to use it all during our stay in October. The surrounding areas around Lakefield is beautiful, with lots of parks to explore. Chuck was a very helpful and responsive host. Highly recommend Brickwood!

Just returned from spending a week at the Brickwood farmhouse. Such a fun property to vacation at. The saltwater pool was fabulous! We spent every day in the pool and the hosts allowed us to control the temperature of the water, which was great! We got to enjoy the sauna on the cooler/cloudy days and our favorite amenity was the outdoor shower. The hosts provided all the shampoo/conditioner and body wash for both indoor and outdoor showers. We ate outside almost every night to enjoy the beautiful view. Comfortable outdoor furniture on both decks. The kitchen was well stocked. Didn't have to worry about bringing paper products, or most pantry items. Nice modern appliances and Cuisinart pots & pans. Chuck and Alicia were very helpful, attentive and kind hosts. The nearby towns were very quaint. Lakefield Bakery was amazing and the ice cream shop's ice cream was delicious. Visited the Petroglyphs and the town of Bobcaygeon. Both great spots to visit. Selwyn park/beach was cute too. Nice trail through the forest. Overall, great stay at Brickwood. Thanks for the memories.
