What can I say about Lorella and Lorella’s place that has not already been said… Lorella is truly a most wonderful host,she met us at the house on arrival,showed us around,gave lots of recommendations,offered to make bookings etc,she went out of her way to make our stay wonderful,and it truly was. The home has been refurbished,so it’s even better than the photos. We were very comfortable in our cosy King size bed,plenty of linens. Our son stayed in a twin bed room and said it was very comfortable too. Both bathrooms are great,the kitchen was very well equipped. The home is ideally situated,right across from the beach,very easy stroll to the cafés,shops and lovely restaurants. La Lucciola restaurant very close by,super friendly and excellent food,Stefano and Stefania are very attentive. The “town” by the harbour has lots of places to explore,a big old church at one end,and the castle that you can climb up to at the other,lovely sreeets with family run business’s. Magnificent vacation.

Lorella is a generous and attentive host. She picked us up from the train station in La Spezia and ordered us a taxi when we left which made things very easy. The view of the bay, the mountains, Palmaria island, and Torre Scola was magnificent and the space was very comfortable. The apartment has recently been given a 2nd bathroom, new flooring, appliances and furniture, which are all very nice. The location is a convenient walk to the beautiful town and harbor and the local Conad market. Depending upon the time of year and weather, you can easily take a boat to most of the Cinque Terre towns and the neighboring islands (Palmaria, Tino, Tinetto). If you plan to go to Doria Castle, DO NOT follow google maps there. It took us on a difficult hiking trail/steps outside of the city walls that is for serious hikers going into the wilderness (take Salita Castello or go to San Pietro church first) and make your way up.

Unsere Erwartungen haben sich ganz erfüllt…wir wollten schnell ins Meer und genauso schnell wieder ins Quartier…es trennte uns nur eine Straße. Dank Lorella hatten wir sogar einen Parkplatz…danke die dafür❣️❣️❣️

Lorella was a most lovely host and her home was just wonderful! We had 5 nights there and could easily have stayed longer. Lorella was so helpful with making local restaurant bookings, introductions to the beach club and always responsive to any questions that we had - such a kind and generous person as well! We were able to walk to the local restaurants and an easy 5 minute ferry across to Palmaria island, which is definitely worth visiting. Would highly recommend Lorella's home in Porto Venere. Thank you Lorella :)

Wir waren zu viert für eine Woche in la Viletta! Lorella und ihr Mama Juliana waren so freundlich, hilfsbereit und flexibel. Das Haus mit dem kleinen Garten liegt wunderschön in Portovenere und vor allem unter der Woche ist es hier sehr ruhig. Der öffentliche Badestrand nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Leider war es etwas zu heiß für uns mitten im August - aber Lorella ermöglichte uns sogar ohne Probleme eine frühere Abreise. Das war für uns sehr hilfreich - vielen Dank dafür!
