Honest, caring, responsive hosts. Super clean. Comfortable beds and linens. Very private, but closer to a main road than we expected; however, there was little traffic on the road. Great porch and firepit. No shade trees (built in 2022). Only complaint was the harsh lighting in the main room. We needed (and bought) a standing lamp to have some lower lighting. Fortunately, each half of the room was on a separate switch, so we could light up the kitchen/eating area and dim the couch/pingpong (and vice versa). Super location for visiting Shawnee National Forest while not far from shopping.

This place is a great setup. We have 7 guys for a man’s trip and the space was perfect for us. We were planning on camping at Garden of the gods but rain had other plans so we changed it last minute and thankfully this was available. It’s a newer space. There’s a couple odds and ends that are in the midst of being buttoned up but nothing that was in our way of having a great weekend. Comfortable beds and the largest couch I think I’ve ever seen. Three people can lay down and still fit 3-4 more people on it! Thanks for making a great space. There are some board games here too so you don’t have to bring your own.

It’s a really new pole barn house that is absolutely wonderful. The place is really clean. It’s right off of a state road so it’s easy to get to, but there is some noise from traffic. Not too much to be annoying though. There’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year. Thanks.
