I highly recommend grilling steaks from No BS Meat on site. Best meal of our vacation!!! The photos Matched, it was a lovely area but sadly rained both days of our stay. I would have been able to explore more... had it not been for the mud. Irritated by Illinois' rain, but the bunkhouse was a nice dry repreive from the nearly constant drizzle. Two separate sections to this home with two full kitchens was very helpful work 11 guests. We had to bring one air mattress, and they're were 4 beds and 2 futons provided... very impressed with available linens for showers and extra blankets provided for our use! Pam and her children were very quick & responsive from check in throughout our entire stay! Check out the weekly specials at No BS Meat... across a street from your stay! The New York Strip steals and Ribeyes were amazing, and we found a package deal for $100 that fed our entire family comfortably! If we travel back this way I'll buy more steaks from No BS Meat; every chance I get!

Pam and Dave were great host. A lot of activity around their farm this weekend and they were still always there if we needed them. They were very inclusive and accommodating… an example for all hosts to strive for for sure!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a magnificent 111 Bunkhouse Airbnb and I must say that it was such a great experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything about this place exceeded our expectations. Pam and Dave are wonderful hosts! Great for a large family! Our grandchildren enjoyed their own private space in the second sitting area complete with TV, kitchen, sleeping and dining areas. The newly renovated barndominium has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Beautiful views- the deck is amazing! Comfy beds and sheets and very clean. The air was fresh, the views were stunning, and the tranquility was unmatched. Highly recommend!
