For starters, the directions to the location were awful. All you had to tell us was "the Villa was located in Aves Resort and check in was at the registration desk." We would have found the villa easily. Second, the beds were totally wrong and were not what was shown on the listing. Mike knew we had 9 guys traveling together and we were not sleeping in the same beds. When we arrived their were a total of six Kings and Queens set up...three people didn't have beds. We took some beds apart to make singles and I slept on the floor on a cushion. Last, there were tons of ants.....hundreds of ants. Really should call the listing the "Ant House"

We had the most wonderful stay at Chez Mu. The home is incredibly spacious and has ample room for relaxing. We spent most of our time on the expansive decks and in the gorgeous infinity pool. Mike and his family are wonderful hosts and the property is a reflection of the love and care they have put into ensuring their guests have an unforgettable experience in Montezuma. We would certainly book again!

Very beautiful property. The accommodations were very nice, clean and comfortable. Amazing views. All the staff were great, they were very helpful in setting things up for us. Great food at their restaurant too! We wish we had been able to stay longer.

Mike’s villa Chez Mu was a beautiful spot to take my family and friends for vacation in Montezuma. The villa is nestled up on the top of the hill and is extremely spacious. It has a beautiful pool and nature surroundings. There’s lots of activities to do nearby although you do need a vehicle to get down to the town as it’s quite a ways and impractical to walk back uphill. There is definitely room for improvement with the details, appliances and furniture are substandard and dysfunctional. Overall I would recommend this place if you have a large group and I hope that Mike continues to improve the place to make it more comfortable to stay at for long time periods. Thank you Mike for our stay!

This house is amazing. Great view. Amenities are complete. Clean and has cleaners come in when needed. Private infinity pool and sunbathing deck. Full kitchen if you ever have a catch to cook and we had 2. It’s was awesome.
