Accurately depicted. Upper level: bedroom & bath ensuite, laundry room. Middle level: slightly smaller bedroom (bath across hall & three steps down). Lower level: large fully equipped kitchen/living space, shady porch with lovely view + railings for hanging dive gear. Keith, Laurie & property manager Lisa: very responsive hosts, answering many questions before & after arrival. Excellent recommendations for ferry service, airport transport, etc. Wonderful Derrick & his team!!! At our beck and call for 2 weeks. Great dive sites, shore expeditions, and an emergency run to bring the doctor & the nurse when one of us had a terrible attack of chronic gastritis. Derrick offered to pay the medicos for us!!! Caveats: Guanaja is very remote. The house is isolated. No walking to any amenities but the nearby restaurant. 99 steps from boat to house. Insect repellent: yes. Power outages fairly common. A great & economical adventure on the least touristy island we've ever visited, but be prepared!

Absolutely breathtaking location! The house was better than expected. Very comfortable and had all the necessities. Derick the guide and his son were amazing to us. They took us scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking, and sightseeing. He even brought us a gift at the end of our week. The dives were the best we’ve ever done; playing with the nurse sharks was a highlight! Would definitely recommend Keith’s place. The owners of Mi Casa Too, the restaurant above the house were wonderful and the food was delicious. We ate there several times. A few things to keep in mind: The ferry to Guanaja from Roatan has a very limited schedule. Be sure to understand this ahead of finalizing your trip. Wear bug spray constantly, everywhere! And there are A LOT of steps up to the house from the dock. Be prepared for these things, and you will have a fabulous time. Guanaja is beautiful. Pristine and peaceful with amazing turquoise water, undisturbed reef, and super friendly locals. Can’t wait to return!

Loved the place and Keith was super helpful with making suggestions and offering flexible solutions to our unique circumstances. We loved the food at Mi Casa Too which was just up the street. I recommend going to the super market before arriving to have a few breakfast foods on hand. Would go back in a heart beat. Highly recommend for any future visitors (just know that you'll have to climb some stairs - a great workout!)
