We loved staying here and would love to return! Great to be right by the ocean - beautiful views from the deck and relaxing space. Close to town for restaurants and more beach access. Valerie was a sweet host and definitely made our Hawaii experience better with her kind hosting and local knowledge.

Valérie was a wonderful host and the cottage was a perfect home base for us during our trip. The North Shore has such a more laid back, authentic feel compared to the crowded tourist hubs around Lahaina and Wailea on the West and South Shores. Valérie and Craig were warm, gracious and welcoming hosts and Valérie was fantastic about offering advice and tips for things to do, little beaches to visit that aren't crowded, good restaurants and anything else we were curious about. They have a washer and dryer on site, dedicated for their guests to use, which was super helpful throughout the trip, too! Loved being walking distance from Paia and really centrally located to get not only to Lahaina, Wailuku and other areas in central, western and southern Maui but also to the quieter, charming upcountry towns like Haiku and Makawao, Haleakala, driving the road to Hana, the bamboo forests, twin falls... We will absolutely stay here every time we come back to Maui!
