This scenic area has a wealth of attractions, including magnificent abbeys at Byland and Rivaulx, Castle Howard stately home, the North York Moors Steam Railway and museums such as Ryedale Folk Museum and Beck Isle Museum. Less than an hour’s drive brings you to the historic City of York and the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Whitby.
