Polruan is a period coastal house, pet friendly, that comfortably accommodates 10 people. Located in New Quay, the House has stunning sea views, and is a very short walk to the restaurants, pubs, independent shops, beautiful harbour, and sandy beaches! The house was once a sea captains house. Recently refurbished to a high standard, Polruan retains many original features preserving the old-world charm. Externally there is a garden with a large picnic table and a heated outdoor shower. Space for 2 cars at the rear of the house. Enter house from the back courtyard where there’s a picnic table, outside shower and hose pipe. Enter the back door into the large open plan modern kitchen diner. At the back is a utility room which houses the fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer, then a door leading through to a separate toilet. Off the dining area is a separate room for dogs to sleep. Enter the hall way from the dining room which leads to 2 downstairs lounges, one has a double sofa bed, both with modern tv’s and electric fires. 1st floor has a large family bathroom with large walk in shower, roll top bath, double sinks and toilet, 2 king bedrooms - 1 with shower ensuite, and 1 bunk bed room. 2nd floor has a very large attic bedroom with super-king or twin beds with seating area to make the most of the wonderful sea-views. Walk straight outside and down the hill to the wonderful shops, pubs, restaurants, coastal path and stunning beaches.

As a family we loved the house, it had great size rooms, bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and had beautiful features. The kitchen has a nice large table where we could all sit down together for a meal but we mostly enjoyed it for playing board games with the whole family. The kitchen area is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay, nice little utility room off the kitchen with a toilet as well. The living rooms are just a great addition when away with your family flexability for both the children and adults. The area is beautiful straight down to the beach, little cafes and shops. (just remember there is lots of hills). The little park out the back of the house is perfect for children. We highly recommend the house and beautiful area.

Jo’s place was beautiful! It was the perfect spot for our family get away! Fabulous location, super close to the sea for our cold morning dips, with incredible costal paths! The house itself was so well equipped with everything you needed and beautifully furnished! I could have sat in the bedroom window looking out at the sea for days! Thank you!
We stayed for Xmas and had a wonderful time. The house is gorgeous and everything is state of the art, so much consideration has gone into this Air BNB. we found it easy to keep tidy even with 9 of us. We had everything we needed and plenty of space. Location is great for walks by the sea. Dog room super handy. Thank you Jo!
We loved our stay at Polruan House! Plenty of room for my family of six- my older teenagers loved watching a movie in one of the front room whilst my younger daughter played in the second. Everything has been recently refurbished and beautifully appointed. It’s basically a brand new kitchen/appliances/furnishings in a charming old house. New Quay is a lovely little town and it was great to explore the area. We would definitely like to return and absolutely recommend this place to anyone going there!

There’s a great kids park just behind the house along with a large football field and small skate park.
Park at the rear of the house then you can walk to everywhere. There’s a bus stop just up the road if you’d like to travel to the surrounding areas by bus or you can take the car to places further afield.
