this was truly a perfect location for us! we walked almost everywhere in CBD including to the national museum. An event called Cuba Dupa was occurring during our stay and just blocks away. check-in was a bit confusing. the Airbnb site said "self check-in with lockbox". however, I had to walk into the Ramada Hotel and speak with the front desk staff for actual check-in. he was fabulously friendly and helpful but caused us some issues as the area is very dense. which leads to parking: we had a rental car and parked for free on the street from 8pm - 8am. then used a car park just two buildings down from the hotel. it was a Wilson lot and downloaded ParkMate to extend time during the day. you can park 12 hours for $7. the address was 57 Vivian Street for anyone interested. what was so nice, and I didn't realize would be available, was a nice/new washer and dryer as well as a basically full kitchen. pro tip: water has to be physically turned on! overall a wonderful stay :)

It was actually the Ramada Inn - a hotel chain, but this was not noted in the descriptions however was still great and would stay again. the check in details could have been clearer for me as it said there was a self check in code which I was not aware of what it was and had to ask, but actually just needed to check in at reception! (which closed at 8pm)

Well-located room to enjoy Wellington city center. Also, everything is provided to enjoy your stay, and the bed is pretty nice. The possibility to make our own laundry was a plus.

Great location, receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel room with kitchenette and laundry facilities. We used the onsite car parking/stacker though we had a small glitch getting out that was resolved quickly by hotel staff.
