Orchard cottage is a beautiful stay, we felt very much at home here and it’s located in a peaceful location. Peg and Stuart were wonderful hosts who provided every piece of information, that we didn’t even need to reach out, very welcoming hosts. The baked treats on arrival are certainly worth mentioning, baked to perfection! Overall, an incredibly enjoyable stay here, a beautiful cottage in a lovely location and wonderful hosts. Thank you Peg and Stuart, you’ve nailed it.

Well what can I say, worth every penny, the cottage exceeded my expectations it was spotless and very cozy and inviting, well equipped, she really has thought of everything, simple explanation and helpful instructions on a clear board in the kitchen. I would thoroughly recommend this idillyic place for a visit to the North lakes and coast. I'm definitely going to recommend it to family and friends and hopefully will return .

Orchard Cottage is a beautiful, cosy place to stay, and acts as a wonderful base travelling into Carlisle and the Lake District. The attention to detail within the accommodation is wonderful, from Peg’s gorgeous bakes, to fitting decorations, and a stunning garden. You have everything you would possibly need!
