The host needs to improve her communication skills, as her ignorance of my messages and tone made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable staying with her. She asked me when I will be arriving to which I responded with a time before the official check-in time. She didn't text me after that until the day of my check-in with a, "I am waiting for you." At that point, I replied to her that I was confused because she never clarified that she would be waiting for me or that she would even approve me checking in early. I provided her with my personal phone # so she could message/call me with any important check-in instructions as I was getting into town later than expected. She left me on read. For 6 hours, I messaged her several times asking about check-in instructions, & she left me on the 'read' until I called her out on it. Then she got a sassy/aggressive tone with me and I chose not to stay with her because it felt weird that she was withholding info from me about a room I paid for 2 weeks ago.

Maria Nieves is a beautiful host, she is from Spain 🇪🇸 I felt right at home, the room is neat and clean, very cozy, has air conditioning, microwave, refrigerator and a little oven, it has its own lock with a beautiful patio with lots of palm trees 🌴 and vegetation, loved it I would visit again, you have your own bathroom, it smells great, I truly enjoyed my stay 😌🧘‍♀️❤️, thank you Nieves
