Relax with the whole family at The Gilford House! Just steps from Lake Simcoe, this 3 bed 1 bath home is perfect for a family getaway. There is plenty to do during your stay including paddle boarding at Gilford Beach, boat rentals at Cooks Bay Marina, golfing at Harbour View Golf & Country Club, a Sunday Market at The Gilford Local Eatery, a day trip to Friday Harbour and so much more! If you feel like staying in, we have lawn games, board games, an outdoor projector, and fire pit.

Loved our stay at the Gilford House. Beautifully and tastefully decorated inside and out. Very comfortable and lots of amenities. Can’t wait to return in the warm months to experience more of what the area and home has to offer!
The communication was great from the start and the place was as advertised. I wouldn’t change a thing about the experience and we will definitely be staying here again!
Was at Gilford House for this past weekend. Our host was very responsive on any questions and it was in a great location to jump off to things we wanted to do. Very cosy and comfortable which was appreciated as the temperature dropped.
Excellent location, very close to boat ramp to enjoy lake, extra large parking and beautiful place to stay. We’ll definitely be back.
Great location for my friends and I to celebrate my birthday. The BNB was exactly as described. The instructions for everything were so clear. Jamie was kind enough to provide bottled water and a s’mores kit for the weekend! Would definitely recommend this place to my friends/family!

We are just 10 minutes off highway 400! There is a public boat launch just a one minute walk from the house, our driveway is big so feel free to bring your boat (23 ft and under) , or rent one from Cooks Bay Marina. There is also a great restaurant with live music every Saturday and a farmers market every Sunday right beside the boat launch. The area is great for walking, Gilford Beach is great for swimming, and just a three minute walk away! Take our water toys down there with you to make it even more fun.
We have ample parking in our driveway. Enough for 6-8 vehicles, or 3 vehicles and a boat/trailer 23ft and under
