Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent and a well-behaved dog is welcome. Outside, there’s off-road parking for five cars on a private driveway and a garden with lawn, patio, hot tub and furniture. The nearest shop and pub are 2.1 miles away. Cae Du is a fantastic choice for a family getaway to Anglesey.

Our stay at Cae Du was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Matt, Ed and Lynne the hosts were so welcoming and the communication was en pointe. The house itself is absolutely stunning, a real home from home. Even though the weather let us down there was still so much to do thanks to the hosts attention to detail: so many games and activities in the games room, books filling every nook and we enjoyed a lovely bbq complete with fire to toast s’mores in the evening and made plenty of use of the hot tub! The grounds are just beautiful and the kids and dog could run wild in the garden which was completely safe and fenced in. The little village of Dwyran is quiet but on walks the locals were very friendly and the Island itself is so small you can reach most places in less than 30 mins, so many beautiful beaches and villages to explore - it was the perfect British summer holiday! Thanks Matt, Ed + Lynne we will definitely be back!
My family & I were absolutely delighted with this property. There was nothing disappointing about it. The owner of the property was responsive, caring & considerate towards our stay. Centrally located, close to a fabulous beach. The property can be enjoyed in all weathers, if it’s warm you can jump into the hot tub or as we did, have a game of cricket in the garden. When it rained we put the log burner on & played games. Will definitely return for another stay.

Niwbwrch is a 13th-century settlement on Anglesey. The hamlet is notable for its enormous sand dunes and Niwbwrch Forest, one of the most significant red squirrel conservation locations in the UK. Llys Rhosyr has the ruins of a pre-Edwardian court and excellent views over mainland Wales and Snowdonia National Park. After exploring the region, refuel at The White Lion with ales and pub food. Treath Llanddwyn beach and Eglwys Santes Dwynwen and Goleudy Twr Bach are nearby. Niwbwrch is near Bangor and Snowdonia National Park, which have many walking paths.
