This adventure house is close to an I-5 exit in a small quaint mountain town, making it an easy and convenient place to stay. It is next door to a Historic Country Store that has fun happenings all the time. This cute cottage makes joining these fun events convenient, but offers your own space to retreat to afterwards. It also offers a pet-friendly option so that those with furry friends may stay. This small house/cottage is set up much like a studio with the dining, couch, and kitchen together in a shared space. The sleeping area is open concept with no doorway, however the bathroom is separated by a barn-style sliding door. Plenty of room for a couple and is a very comfortable space.
cozy, comfortable, and warm pet friendly cabin in a beautiful mountain town. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. I can't stress enough how amazing the store next door is - everything you need plus a tap room with the friendliest and loveliest people ever. Don't pass up the opportunity to meet the great local folks and enjoy their company during your stay. A+ experience
This was a return visit and it was perfect. We attended the New Years Eve Party at their Venue. So convenient and comfortable. The store next door has everything you would need. The kitchenette is well equipped. I am referring friends and family. Patti is very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Looking forward to our next visit their way.
Nice, quaint place, easy to find. Felt comfortable and safe there. Good place for dogs.Sure beats a hotel stay!
Azalea is a very small town with a population of less than 300 people, but grows with tourist and event entertainers during special events hosted by the 100 year old Azalea Mountain Store or the Azalea Mountain Venue. The post office next door used to be in the store, but was moved to its own building next door in the late 1960’s. The Azalea Fire Department is across the street and is comprised from a dedicated group of volunteers. Even though Azalea is a small town, it serves a large rural area that is passionate about building positive community support.
Being close to I-5, it is easy to get where you want to go.
Grants Pass is 30 miles South, Medford is 50 miles South, and Roseburg is 40 miles North.
The closest towns are Glendale and Canyonville. Glendale is 10 minutes to the South in which the children in Azalea are bussed to school there. Canyonville is 12 minutes to the North, and you will find 7-Feathers Casino and Resort where many of the locals work.
The closest food service would be the historic Azalea Mountain Store (Next door) or Heaven on Earth Restaurant, famous for their cinnamon rolls found South at Exit 86.
Galesville Reservoir is across the Interstate up Cow Creek road 8 miles. It has picnicking, camping, fishing, boating, swimming, and is a worth whole area to visit and take in the beauty of the lake and mountains.
