We stayed in both of the units at the Store and both were delightful. No complaints. The building has a great feel to it. Would happily stay again.

We really enjoyed our unique stay in the historic working store. Our room (unit #1) was spacious, has a comfortable queen-sized bed, a full sized futon with extra bedding, a spacious bathroom (shower only) and a 50’s themed kitchenette with a 4 chair sitting area with plenty of counter space. The electric fireplace at the foot of the bed added to the ambience of a private cabin. The kitchenette had everything we could want in an overnight setting. We enjoyed the snack basket and having a cold bottle of water and a soda already chilled in the fridge. The bathroom was spacious and the direct fan over the shower was a great idea; no foggy bathroom mirror. Pleasantly surprised at the thoughtfulness of the sunken shower for us taller people. We appreciated the labeled remotes for the flat panel monitor, the Roku and the electric fireplace. The internet was lightning fast and the detail, the store, the atmosphere was all very welcoming! Flawless Place! :)

Patti's space is very unique and charming. The historic building has awesome character and has been decorated beautifully. The bathtub, fireplace, and location above the Azalea Mountain Store are awesome features! Patti even had a free food basket for me to enjoy- so thoughtful! The only downside is the proximity to the freeway. I typically don't struggle to sleep in noisy environments, but I did wake up a few times when big semis were passing on the Interstate. If you're a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you. For me, the listing was perfect and was a huge help when I needed to stop through Azalea! Thanks, Patti!

What a fun little place. Very cool old building with loads of charm. Your own personal entrance to the store below is through a secret wine barrel door. Very friendly people. The room is quite attractive and clean - easy to feel at home. The hosts make it easy to get in and set right up. Would easily stay here again.
