We love Polly's place and have already let her know that we'll be back! We were looking for a quiet place with easy access to the Big Horn National Park, to hiking trails, to the lovely rolling hills around the polo grounds, and with effortless access to Sheridan's restaurants and parks. Polly's place is perfect for all of this. Her decor is simple and effortless with beautiful furnishings, comfortable bedrooms and a spacious kitchen. A bonus for us was the outdoor grill and the quiet backyard space, which we took advantage of numerous times.

A quintessential Bighorn Mountain area retreat! The creek, yard, views, classic furnishings and beautifully curated artwork made this a truly inspiring getaway space. Counting down the days till I can claim another couple mornings and evenings of country calm here. Walkable to the Merc and LeDoux Saloon for world class dining, while also feeling like you’re in a slice of the mountains your own.

Polly was a phenomenal host! She was extremely proactive, responsive and detail oriented....and her cottage was truly reflective of her style. It was a Western oasis blending the best of the historical character of the house with modern amenities like a new kitchen, lighting and washer/dryer. Her choice of furniture, old and new, along with her Western art collection created an inviting and warm home. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean and fresh. The outdoor space is well manicured and equipped with seating, grill and fire pit. One of the gems of the cottage is its location at the foothills of Big Horn Mountains. The view is magnificent when driving to the house via the main road and is a constant reminder of the beauty of Wyoming's wide open space. Finally, Sheridan is a 15 minute ride and provides great shopping, history and restaurants. Polly provided lots of recommendations ranging from museums, horseback riding, sites and restaurants. I truly can't wait to go back!!

Polly's cottage was adorable, spacious and comfortable! it was everything I expected it to be and more. Quiet, very clean and private. Large windows allowed for me to have great views of the country. Polly was great at communicating, as a host and very friendly. I highly recommend her cottage and I expect to book another stay soon!

September 15-19, 2023 We loved our stay at Polly's cottage. The cottage is as described. It is beautifully decorated, cozy, updated, and had everything we needed. I can't say enough about Polly's place and her attention to detail. The cottage is in a great location, close to Sheridan and Buffalo. There is a little hole in the wall bar (Last Chance) within walking distance where we enjoyed talking to the locals. Also a great pizza place is nearby. I would highly recommend Polly's place. She is a super nice host and I had an art lesson at her studio that was a highlight of my trip to Wyoming. Thanks Polly for letting us stay in your little piece of Heaven on Earth.
