The perfect launchpad for our first ever East Coast family vacation. The place itself walks a really great line between feeling new and feeling rustic. The host was enjoyable and easy to communicate with. Probably one of the most incredible settings with a great view. Lots of little fun homey touches made us feel right at home. This was possibly my favourite AirBnb destination yet!

We stayed here while visiting Cape Breton Island and found that it was a good location for our trip. It had an outstanding view of Lake Ainslie and the surrounding area. The inside was very spacious and clean. The air conditioner was an added bonus and kept the place cool on the warm days. It was easy to find and access.

Amy’s place was exactly as described . It’s a very cute converted garage that is very modern , private , quiet and an excellent location . Even though it’s rural there were great restaurants within a short 20 minute drive . Or, if you are looking to make meals there is a beautiful BBQ and al the things you would require for home cooking .The view from the the house is beautiful- we would definitely book again and I would recommend this place to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage had a gorgeous view of Lake Ainsley. We also took a walk to the top of the mountain for a beautiful sunset in the evening! The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything is brand new and squeaky clean. The kitchen is well equipped with the essentials, there is lots of comfy seating and the beds were very comfortable. The location was great. There are great options for fishing nearby. We took a drive to Big Spruce Brewing which is about 30 minutes away. We also enjoyed a delicious lobster roll at a dockside restaurant in Baddeck. Overall it was a wonderful getaway and we will definitely return!
