I stayed at Emad’s place for 3 nights at the start of December with my wife. Starting with the pros, the location of the property was good, with great views over the Marina from the balcony. There are a selection of shops and restaurants within 5 minutes drive and both Venice and Santa Monica are not more then 15 minutes away. We booked the accommodation around 3 hours prior to checking in, and Emad responded to us almost immediately, and provided clear and easy instructions on how to locate the key, and enter the property. A dedicated parking space was also provided. The apartment had all the amenities we needed for our stay, and we found the washer dryer to be particularly useful. Now the cons. As has been mentioned in a past review, the bedroom doesn’t seem to have a light, and the lamp is not accessible from the bed, which is not overly convenient. The major con was the cleanliness. We had to wash the bed sheets and towels as we both felt this hadn’t been done prior to our arrival

The unit is relatively new, with a good location and beautiful marina views, relatively close to restaurants and the beach (10 to 20 minutes walk), with a convenient covered parking space. The mattress is good, but the bed is a little old, and despite being heavy, it is not firm (it needs to be repaired) and is placed unnecessarily sideways against a wall (it is a challenge to make the bed and for one of the people to get in and go out). There are some basic things missing (e.g., in the bedroom, a light that can be turned on with the switch, furniture to place suitcases, pillowcases for extra pillows; in the kitchen, bowls to serve food or salad, dish drainer rack, dish towels, coffee filter, wine glasses; hand towels in bathroom). Overall, we liked the unit and would stay again (assuming the bed is fixed and positioned in a regular location in the room and the basic things missing above are added to the unit).
