I stayed here during our Memorial Day Trip with Fam and our dog. We enjoyed our stay, the cabin and short drive to lots of points in ADK mountains. - John was extremely prompt and a clear communicator. - There were thoughtful touches in the home and a well-equipped kitchen. - Perfect size for us 5 people and our dog enjoyed his stay. - Quiet neighborhood with access to the private Loon Lake, which is amazing. - It's only a 35-minute drive to Lake Placid.

Loved the place, the location was perfect. John had mentioned about the gps, so I looked at maps beforehand. The gps got us there no problem. Love the fireplace. I would stay again!!!

Hosts were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful! Felt at home as soon as we walked in! We were excited to find FRESH spring water chilling in fridge and it was DELICIOUS! The house is beautiful with open floor plan perfect for family togetherness. Enjoyed cooking and still being a part of everything! Bedrooms upstairs and downstairs were perfect as we brought grandma along. Driveway was big enough for snowmobile trailer and truck. Nice to not have to unhook if you plan on not leaving during your stay. The house is secluded on road only traveled by local residents plus for families as traffic is low. STRONG WiFi and Roku on tvs. Selection of board games! We were able to enjoy snowmobiling, ice skating on private lake, sledding and all the fun winter activities. Went to the High Falls Gorge but the view just driving in the car from house to lake placid was majestic. We will be returning during the summer to experience all the beauty this location has to offer.

My boyfriend and our dog stayed for three nights for an ice fishing trip, and it was perfect for us! John was very friendly and responsive, and even gave us an ice report before we arrived. We were delighted to enjoy the spring water provided. It's a very short walk to the access for Loon Lake, which was sweet to check out, too!
