Beautiful cottage, so well planned and amenities to make our stay comfortable. Beautiful art work, loved the bedrooms, plenty of room for our Sister's birthday weekend. Close to all the things that we wanted to do, close to Old Towne Alexandria and the Harbor. Thanks for the suggestion of the Lip Lab! Will definitely come back!

Quintece is an exceptional host! I can't say enough wonderful things about her lovely cottage. Our family was so comfortable here we did not want to leave! The place was so beautifully & creatively decorated, and it was obvious how much thought & care was put into anticipating the guest's every need and assuring that they felt right at home. The cottage was immaculate & well-stocked, from everything you need in the kitchen to extra linens and towels, as well as "emergency" items (my husband forgot to pack his toothbrush, but we found one in her drawer of extra necessities). And I'm still raving about the beds, we felt like we were sleeping on clouds, so amazingly comfortable!! The location is good. We were plenty close to explore DC and Old Alexandria but able to retreat to her peaceful home after a day's worth of activities. The metro is just minutes away if you prefer not to drive into DC. There's a good selection of restaurants & shops, including a Target, nearby. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Hillside Cottage was amazing! There was plenty of space for our family to sleep and the beds were SO comfortable. The house was absolutely gorgeous, the decor was beautiful, everything was clean, and it had everything we needed! Quintece was quick to respond with any questions we had and she made us feel so welcome at her home. The location was quiet and private and within walking distance to the train station to get right into downtown DC! I would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely tell all my friends about it!!

Quintece’s place was beautiful and so, so comfortable! We stayed with 8 adults and every bed was so comfy, the living and dining space was organized really nicely for everyone to have space to eat and relax. The bathrooms were so clean and the fixtures were lovely - a hot shower with great water pressure at the end of a busy day was a godsend! Any issues we had (which were very few and minor) were answered quickly with grace and kindness! If we have a chance to stay here again, we would do so in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for making our trip what it was! I cannot recommend staying here enough!!
