Dayle was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed fishing && feeding the fish. The cabin was very clean && had everything we could have needed. We will definitely be back.

Dayle's place was everything we hoped for. Dayle has done a wonderful job creating a little oasis out in the country, very quiet and peaceful. The place is amazing, very cozy and lovely inside with so many little touches throughout. The pond in the back of the property is nice and there are several places to sit and relax. The only drawback to this place is limited places to eat nearby, you do have to drive a little ways to get to any restaurants if you prefer to eat out. There are local grocery stores not too far away. However, there is a kitchen in the place which allows you to eat in easily. A great place to relax and unwind.

We only stayed one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer! we really appreciated the drinks and the fridge and how clean and organized everything was!

Dayle's Gone Fishing was amazing. We cannot say enough great things about our stay. Within minutes of arrival, my son and I were fishing with the provided fishing rods and reels on the dock. After some fishing we took a ride on the paddle boat. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We were worried about booking because pets are allowed, and we don't have pets. Future guests should not worry because neither my wife nor I could tell that any pets had ever been in that cabin. Dayle had snacks, food, and drinks available. The coffee in the Keurig was wonderful as we watched the fog rise off the pond during these chilly spring mornings. If you look up Southern hospitality in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Dayle and Chris. They were willing to give us our privacy if we wanted it, but our six-year-old didn't want it, so they were more than willing to keep him busy and treat him like family. We will be back soon!

The only thing that we regretted was not being able to stay longer! This place is so peaceful and beautiful. The attention to detail was impeccable. Dayle literally thought of everything to make your stay special. We brought 2 German Short haired pointers who absolutely loved the 8 acres of fence in area where they could run after a day of traveling. They also got to play with Dayles 2 Australian Shepherds. Cocktails on the dock were fantastic, the property, beautiful, the guest house was so nice and so comfortable. Dayle and her husband were by far the best hosts we have ever stayed with, and there have been a lot. This was a one night stop over for us traveling back from VA to FL, but I think we will make it a longer stay next time, and just about 30 minutes from downtown Savannah, one of our favorite places. Better than any hotel! Such a wonderful place. Just do it! Thank you Dayle!!!!!
