As you approach this lovely lodge you walk straight onto the deck which offers the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by on a warm summer’s evening. Stepping inside you find an open-plan living space, which is the ideal social space for family or friends. There are three bedrooms of which two are twin rooms, the third bedroom offers the flexibility of being either a twin or a double, and then the lodge is completed with a family bathroom. Haverigg is located close to Millom, a small coastal town located near the mouth of the Duddon Estuary, and lies on the edges of the Lake District National Park. This former bustling mining town, surrounded by beaches and stunning natural beauty, now enjoys a slower pace of life. It is well serviced offering plenty of amenities, such as several food stores, independent shops, takeaways, a museum, a theatre, pubs and a train station. Nearby attractions include the RSPB wildlife reserve at Hodbarrow, as well as the expansive beaches at Haverigg and Silecroft, which also offers access to the Cumbrian Coastal Way and magnificent views of the Irish Sea and the Isle of Man. If water sports are your thing, then Serenity is located on Port Haverigg Marina Park which offers wakeboarding, paddleboarding, water skiing and an adventure park, and afterwards Herdwick’s café and ski bar is a must.
