If you are looking for outdoor adventure you don’t need to venture far, Coniston Water is within walking distance, or if you fancy a hike there is ’Coniston Old Man’, which offers a challenge but rewards with fantastic views. There is easy access to other famous Lake District attractions including Windermere or the lakeside towns of Bowness and Ambleside. There is truly something for everyone within easy reach of Coniston and wherever you go it’s a breath-taking journey.
