Location was great, very residential and quiet area. Restaurants, Coffee shops, Supermarket are all in walking distance. During my stay in May in Laureles neighborhood, it can get pretty hot compared to Poblado neighborhood. So having portable air conditioner was huge plus.

I rented 2 apartments here. Housy is an Airbnb wannabe that's basically a nice looking hotel in a good area, but sucks even as a hotel. The amenities you are looking for in an Airbnb, the convenience to easily cook a meal and feel like home is missing here. There is a coffee maker, but no coffee nor sugar. You want to cook? there is not even oil or salt. They didn't even let a bottle of water. Even cheap hotels will give you coffee, sugar and water. If you are going to stay a few days and want to hang your clothes, nope, they don't offer hangers. So for the $$ they charge, is better to stay in an actual hotel. I hope they read this and improve. This apartment in particular is pretty hot. Those little air conditioners in the rooms barely make a difference. There is no air conditioner in the living room, so you will be hot as hell there. The only good thing is that they kept my bags after I checked out for a few hours. The other apt I rented there (has a green wall) was less hot.

The apartment was just as described. The location is perfect. If you’re looking for a more quiet experience than Poblado, with better prices, and the same quality of selection, Laureles is for you.

We genuinely loved the apartment. It was beautiful, clean, as pictured and our host responded very quick. We can’t complain about that. However, what won’t be bringing us back here is that the AC units in each room stopped cooling after a few hours and it was unbearably hot 😔. We weren’t able to sleep bc of the heat (we visited in a cooler month-December). The living room area has no AC unit so it isn’t an area we could use as it was hotter than the rooms. Also, please beware with the metal that covers the toilet paper in the bathrooms. My friend sliced her leg open and had to get 8 stitches bc the metal cut her. I do understand accidents happen and that wasn’t in the hands of our host but I think a better response would’ve been appreciated. I really hate to be frank but I am unhappy with the way they handled both issues. The AC was something they could’ve possibly handled and been responsive to in finding a solution (ie bringing a cheap fan etc) but they brushed that off.
