Suzumeya Hotel is a small traditional house with just three private rooms and a front cafe. Since it was built 100 years ago, there are many inconveniences. The wooden stairs are very steep. Even so, the relaxing wooden space and traditional setting will make your trip a pleasant one. Our breakfast is a healthy organic. Mornings at Tsukiji start very early, and the area is bustling with fresh fish and high-quality ingredients. Would you like to stay in the deep world of Tsukiji? The wooden stairs are very steep and the ceilings are low in some places. The newly installed toilet and shower are a little small, but they are Western-style and clean. The room has everything you need and is clean. The comfortable big bed has a special mattress.

We had a wonderful stay at Suzumeya. The small hotel has been beautifully restored. While the room was small it had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Our hosts were so friendly and gave us lots of local tips. It is in a great location right near a bus stop that can take you to Ginza and TeamLabs Planets in 10 minutes and there are lots of great restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

Amazing spot! Felt at home the moment we arrived. This accommodation is everything I was hoping for and more. The traditional Japanese breakfast is a must - don’t skip it. Delicious, beautiful and of great value. Hope to be able to stay again one day. Thank you so so much!!!!

The Great Kanto Earthquake occurred in September 1923. Around the same period this house was built. As a store, factory, or dormitory, from one corner of the back alley of Tsukiji Market, the house witnessed the city's reconstruction, and the drastic changes that stroke Japan spanning from food to politics.
