We absolutely loved our stay at Billy's place. I've been to Tokyo five times and this is by far my favourite accomodation. We were a party of five (two couples and a child) and it was perfect for us. The beds were super comfortable, the house was well insulated and cosy + warm during the colder April days. But most importantly, the location. We were fortunate enough to land in this area on the day of Sakura's peak bloom. The house is steps away from one of the most beautiful cherry blossom areas in Tokyo. The area itself is really hip; expect cute little wine bars & specialty coffee houses, with exciting new restaurants - mixed with some great classics. We loved the Yakiniku right by the park (steps from the house), Tokyo Cute People, 大衆酒場 酒と麺タイノタイ, and Massif. Tolo Pan Bakery will change your life. Ikejiri Ohashi station is well serviced and easy to navigate. Great little sento around the corner that plays jazz in the sauna. Minutes from Nakameguro centre. Honestly, stay here.

Location is excellent, great to experience a quiet local area but within a few minutes to all amenities including the easily accessible to a convenient station. The station is 1 station from shibuya and direct through to omotesando area. Nice ramen and Katsudon in the quiet shopping street. The house itself offers good space for a larger group, ours is 5 persons. We congregated in the kitchen most evenings. As long as you are ok with stairs, it’s a good alternative to hotels or smaller apartments. Billy is very responsive and does his best to solve issues. Ask for instructions to get there as there is a trick between the address listed and the entrance. Thanks Billy for hosting.

We had a lovely stay at Billy’s place. It had plenty of room for the three of us, plus a nice minimalist vibe. Billy was an extremely responsive and kind host, even allowing us a late checkout which was very helpful because we had late flights home. And we LOVED the neighborhood. Many great restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and bars, yet there was no street noise. We also enjoyed having a beautiful path for running by the river steps from our door, as well as the subway access steps away (note: it’s one stop outside of the Tokyo subway so you need a separate ticket, currently 140 yen… not a big deal, just good to know!).

Very uncomplicated and straight forward communication with Billy. Super friendly and responsive host offering a super comfortable and beautiful place to stay. Would recommend it anytime for people searching for alternatives to Hotels and want some insight to a more local lifestyle!
