Welcome to Maitreya Biotope - Here you will have many bedrooms, your own kitchen, and a bathroom in the guest building of a typical Spanish Finca. You will also have plenty of outdoor space to eat and enjoy life, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and nature. You will be hosted by Michi and Karen and their little son Enki, and Teresa, who will ensure your stay is comfortable. The farm is also a hub for international volunteers, friends, and family, creating a lively and welcoming community. There are two buildings on the property, with ten bed rooms, two large living rooms and two kitchens. There is the option to cook your own food in the kitchen or take part in a shared dinner, breakfast and lunch. Our meals are plant based, healthy and mostly gluten free. Breakfast: 6€ Dinner: 10€ Lunch (we use leftovers or cook lighter meals together): 8€ Full Board incl. lunch, coffee, plant milk and tea: 28€ There is no heating in the room, but we can offer many blankets and hot water bottles. There is a bathroom/shower in the second house. We, however, prefer that you shower in the bath/ laundry house as the waste water there will go to water the garden. Therefore please only use 100% ecological products - if you don’t have any, just ask us and we can provide some. We recommend using our compost toilet with a wonderful view. You will also have access to two yoga platforms, different terracces to hang out. Here you can find space for yourself or participate in activities such as yoga, meditation, sound circles or gardening. We have good wifi in both buildings, making it possible to work from here. Activities - beautiful hikes in all directions into the mountains - with the car you can access the beach in 50 min - about an hour away you can also visit some hot springs (during colder winter months) - we live on a huge piece of land and you will have plenty of room to go for walks and enjoy nature On the property, there might be a few people, as we have volunteers and friends or family staying with us most times. If you are happy to have conversations, there are plenty of opportunities. The community also respects the need to be by yourself and have some alone time. Please check in between 3 - 8 pm. If you arrive after 8pm, please double check with us beforehand. Please respect our need to rest, rejuvenate and our time for practices, keeping noise down after 10pm and before 9:30am.
