Hillside Nook offers a private, self contained space with a gorgeous interior to pause and rest whilst sightseeing in Somerset. Providing the perfect location to explore the magic of the local area with many historic landmarks and places of natural beauty in close proximity. The accommodation is positioned just 3 miles from the famous Glastonbury Music Festival site, 5 miles from Glastonbury Town & Tor, 8 miles from the historic city of Wells with many other glorious spots easily accessible. This bright space provides a stylish pitched room with Double Bed and Patio Door into the Back Garden. A Wet Room with powerful shower and Small Toilet Room with a cloakroom sink. Tea & Coffee facilities are available within the space. Please note, there is NO KITCHEN facility however, many lovely local places to dine. You have sole use of the Back Garden. On a ☀️ day please make use of the patio table, chairs & fire pit provided.🪵 for the first 🔥are complementary. Wi-Fi, Quality Cotton Linen & Towels are provided.

We had a great stay with Anna. Lovely little space perfect for our visit. Really nice touches to the room and everything you could need provided for. Breakfast in the garden in the sun was a bonus.
Lovely little studio overlooking the garden. Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, secluded and comfortable. Anna was a very welcoming host. Highly recommend!
Lovely place, it was cosy and had everything you could need. Biscuits were a nice extra! And location was quiet and peaceful. Only thing to note is the blinds let a lot of light in, however eye masks were provided.

There is so much to explore in the surrounding area. The glorious Somerset levels are on your doorstep along with many historic places of interest and delights for foodies in close proximity to the house.
You will be just 5 mins drive away from Glastonbury Town (Glastonbury Tor, Abbey, Chalice Well) 10 mins to Shepton Mallet, 20 mins to Wells (Wells Cathedral, Bishops Palace & Moat, Wed & Sat weekly markets) 20 mins to Bruton (Hauser & Wirth) & Shapwick Nature Reserve. 40 mins to Frome & Cheddar Gorge. 1 hour to Bristol & Bath.
The easiest way to explore the immediate local area is on foot. There are lovely walks within the village and we have a delightful village pub ‘The Red Lion’ within walking distance, great for evening meals.
Exploring the surrounding area requires a car or public bus service. Our Bus stop is on the main road and connects surrounding towns.

During the festival period (June 26-30) travel to the festival site couldn’t be easier (3 miles in car)
x1 Red Gate vehicle parking pass can be provided on request. Alternatively there is a free return bus from the village to the site.
