Antonietta was the best host we've ever had! She took care of us like her own family. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Her place was comfortable, cozy and homey. You can walk to the Mennagio town center and take the ferry to Bellagio and Verano for 10-15 euros. Out of all 3 places, highly recommend staying at Mennagio. Antionietta was available for all our needs at all time. We will definitely be staying at her place when we come back.

Antonietta and her husband were the most delightful hosts. The view was incredibly peaceful. The house was perfect for two young lovers. If you don’t want the crowds of Milan, this is a must visit gem in the mountains overlooking the lake. If you are reading this Antonietta, we adored staying with and look forward to seeing you again! If you go to Lake Como and don’t stay here you are seriously missing out!! Antonietta was the most welcoming and gracious host. She picked us up from the bus stop and welcomed us to her place with homemade spaghetti and bruschetta, not to mention made us fresh coffee every morning. She was very attentive but respectful of our space. The view was so incredible that we had to remind ourselves to leave and go explore the city, which was only a 25 minute walk. It was very easy to get down to the main square and also to take the ferry to the neighboring cities. We would come back in a heartbeat and stay at Antonietta’s again!!

This is the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Antonietta and her husband, who live next door to the Airbnb in a duplex, were exemplary hosts that gave us the full local experience. They treated us as like family, picking us up from the train station because we were arriving in the evening after the last bus, offering for us to eat dinner with them because we hadn’t eaten yet, and looking out for us throughout our entire trip. They were very responsive and helped us with everything we needed, including letting us borrow their umbrellas, giving us the ferry schedule, and even driving us to the ferry station when it was raining. They even invited us for an espresso in their kitchen in the morning before heading out, and cut us some of their Pastiera, a traditional Neapolitan tart. They truly went above and beyond with their hospitality and ensured that we had a great experience. They were such lovely hosts and people and I would love to stay with them again in the future.

Antonietta was a fabulous host! Her and her husband were very kind and picked us up from the boat. Antonietta was always there to help and to answer any questions we had about restaurants, travel and how to get to different places. Beautiful views and a very comfy bed! :) Thank you very much, we will be back! :)
