Lovely place to stay for the night while we were visiting Sovereign Hill. The kids loved feeding the farm animals and keeping the fire burning. The place was clean and had everything we needed. A great family stay!
Peaceful and serene place to stay just few hours away from Melbourne. James (host) was very friendly and responsive. The place was surrounded by scenic view and farm animals. Recommended for families👍🏻
James is a fantastic host and this place is absolutely beautiful. Perfect getaway from the busy & noisy city life . Would recommend this place to all my friends and i'll be visiting again and again
James, our host, was extremely helpful and friendly. House is as pictured, peaceful views from the main living areas. Cannot fault cleanliness down to mattress/pillow protectiors. Warm in main area, bahroom looks like it's from a magazine. Great shower and bath. Whilst it is a stunning property and value for money, l think it lacks attention to little details: 1. Candle in bathroom great idea but nothing to light it with as induction cooker. Same with fire pit (lots cig butts). 2. If you provide coffee and tea, maybe provide a small jar of milk for the first day. 3. Not enough cutlery and mismatched eg couple bread knives and few dinner knives. 4. One bar stool and breakfast bar could sit up to 5? 5. Soap in bathroom seemed watered down and less than 100mls. I had to take some from kitchen and bit from bodywash. 6. One handtowel in bathroom for 5 guests for 3 nights isn't enough. Same for the kitchen with one handtowel and teatowel. 7. TV doesn't show any expected channels.
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming farmhouse during the Easter break. It served as the ideal escape from our bustling city life. Shan was super friendly, attentive and readily available to provide us with directions to the property. All in all, our experience was top-notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
