The place was very clean and had comfortable beds and all we needed. We loved the outside sitting area and proximity to public transport and the beach . The only drawback was that we could not park the second car on the premises, which is tricky as there is only limited all day parking around .

Apartment was great, spacious and well equipped. HUGE outdoor space. Easy walk to beach and shops. Clean and comfortable. But after dropping our bags (and accessing the apartment using the key in the lockbox) we left with one of the extra spare keys provided. That key did not work. Airbnb Mgmt company is overseas and unhelpful. Took 4 hours for a locksmith to arrive, and multiple calls to the mgmt company, requesting an update (and being told we would have to pay extra for the door to be opened). Reluctantly knocked on downstairs neighbour door who had phone number of the owner, who arrived within half an hour. He was nice and helpful, but the company hired to manage the apartment is doing a disservice to the apartment. Also requires pre-arrival ID uploads etc that could easily stuff someone up if they wernt carefully reading check-in instructions. Advice to owner, find new property managers that dont use overseas call centres - it felt like ringing an airline for help.

Lovely home, bigger than expected! Perfect location - walking distance to beach, shops and bus stop to city. Air conditioning was beautiful in the muggy heat. The dishwashing liquid wasn’t nearly strong enough which explained why a few dishes were dirty but we made sure to give everything a really good wash. Airkeeper was a very accomodating host, as we forgot to leave the keys within the lockbox and they were very helpful. Bedrooms were beautiful, and the fans kept everyone cool, even if they were a little loud. Just be warned that this property is on the third floor, with 48 steps, though it’s worth it for the entire balcony and bbq area.

We had a great stay in Dee Why, thanks to this lovely home. We were traveling as a family group, and the three very comfortable beds and spacious living areas were perfect for our needs. Pros: We loved the large, well-furnished terrace, the location (close to the beach, shops, and restaurants), the small desk/office, comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, and the closet space. We spent more than a week at this apartment comfortably. Great wifi. The communication with the host was fast, responsive, and helpful. Notes: The apartment was easy to access; just be prepared to climb many stairs and deal with tight parking. It would be great if the host would supply beach towels, as we felt this was lacking for an apartment near the beach. Overall, we felt like it was a great value and enjoyed our stay.
